Women’s March for a united Netherlands in Amsterdam
Women (and men standing in solidarity with them) take to the streets of Amsterdam, Netherlands on March 11, 2017, for the Women's March on Amsterdam. On the weekend before the Dutch general elections, thousands of people plan to take to the streets in a giant and colourful march in Amsterdam. The march is a positive response to the electoral rhetoric of division and will see thousands of people from across the country, and from all different parties, coming together to call for a united Netherlands, one that stands for equality, diversity and makes a strong call against racism and sexism. Over 25.000 people have registered on the facebook event. (Photo by Romy Arroyo Fernandez/NurPhoto)
