Tamil Hindus celebrate the Mahotsava Festival
Tamil Hindu devotees carry the idols of Lord Murugan and his two wives Goddess Valli Ammai and Goddess Theivayaanai (adorned in green) from their chariot back to the temple during the Mahotsava Festival at a Hindu temple in Ontario, Canada. The deities are adorned in green which is said to calm them from all the excitement experienced while completing the exterior chariot tour around the temple.
