Aftermath In Westminster After Terror Attack Kills Four
A view of New Scotland Yard office in London, on March 23, 2017. Police continue investigations after the terror attack in London yesterday in which a car was driven into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and then into railings outside the Houses of Parliament, where a knifeman stabbed a police officer named as PC Keith Palmer, who subsequently died from his injuries. The attacker also died after security forces shot him. Two other people died in the incident and approx 40 were injured, some 'catastrophically'. A woman was pulled alive from the Thames after reportedly jumping off the bridge to escape the attack. Proceedings in the House of Commons were suspended and the chamber placed into lockdown for the protection of MPs. The attack occurred on the 1st anniversary of the Brussels terror attacks.
