The Kissing Festival after Silence Day in Bali, Indonesia
Balinese young couple take part in the kissing festival, locally known as "Omed-omedan" in Sesetan Village, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, on March 29, 2017. The annual ritual - which translates into 'pull, pull' - is believed to have started around 100 years ago, held one day after the Balinese Day of Silence or 'Nyepi'. The celebration is believed to ensure good health and prosperity to all those taking part, as well as protecting the village from bad luck during the year ahead. (Photo by Agoes Rudianto/NurPhoto)
