Lack of education in traffic, causes deaths in Brazilian traffic

In Brazil, most traffic accidents involving vehicles and pedestrians are caused by lack of education. Many pedestrians cross in inappropriate places, even when there is signposting and pedestrian crossing, or even when there are walkways on the roads. In this image, a man dies run over in the neighborhood of Madureira, north zone of Rio de Janeiro, when crossing in an undue place. The man was hit and killed by a bus from the BRT - Bus Rapid Transit built for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and left as a legacy to the city after the Olympics. (Photo by Luiz Souza/NurPhoto)
