Daily life at Chamakor camp, east of Mosul

Internally Displaced People (IDP) could be seen at Chamakor camp, east of Mosul, Iraq, on 3 April, 2017, on as the ongoing fight against Islamic State continues . More then 11, 000 IDP's live at the camp since it opened 3 weeks ago. The camp is so large the UN is building a new facility to house other IDP's coming from Western Mosul. Here dry food parcels are being dispersed as people wait in line for their goods. The camp is managed by the Barzani Charity Foundation a Kurdish charity independent and non-profitable organisation.
