Poland: the Way of the Cross in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska

Members of the Archconfraternity of the Lord’s Passion during the Good Friday procession in the Franciscan Basilica in Krakow. The history of the Archconfraternity, also called the Archconfraternity of Good Death, dates back to 1595. As a sign of equality towards God, the friars wear black vestments and peaked hoods with holes for their eyes which are supposed to hide their identity. On Friday, April 14, 2017, in Krakow, Poland.
