Fishing port of Molyvos
The little fishing port of Molyvos (or Mythimna), in Lesvos island, Aegean Sea, Greece, Europe. Lesvos is an island in the North Aegean sea. Molyvos or Molivos is a little fishing village in the Northern part of the island. There is a little harbor, a castle and a village built up in the hill. There are some taverns around, octopuses hanging up to dry in the sunshine. Molyvos and Skala Sikamias near Eftalou beach faced the biggest migration wave of the island, almost one million refugees passed from there. Nowadays there is also a Frontex coast guard boat stationed there. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
