Barca legend Puyol meets refugees in Greece and watches the El Clasico football game
More than 1.000 refugees attends the meeting with superstar football player Carles Puyol former captain of Spainin Thessaloniki, Greece, on April 23, 2017 during the ElClasico or classic Spanish game between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Puyol visited the city and the facilities where there were two gigantic screens and football associated games for the refugees. There was food and volunteers gave them footballs and pizza. Accompanied by the Greek migration minister Yannis Mouzalas and La Liga's president Javier Tebas. Puyol attended the "Football Family Day" event, organized by La Liga, Spanish media group Mediapro and NGOs InterVolve and Open Cultural Center.
