Farmers Strike in Jakarta

Jakarta, Indonesia, 28 April 2017 : Farmers from Serikat Tani Telukjamber Bersatu (Farmers united Teluk Jambe) held demonstration in front of Merdeka Palace-Jakarta by buried them self in the grave made of wood. The demand the promise of JOKO WIDODO administration as Indonesian President to full fill his promise in agrraria reform. Farmers from Teluk Jambe-Karawang-West Java have land conflict with PT. Pertiwi Lestari since 2012. With the action they hope Jokowidodo Administration will take care of the situation and give their land that have been occupied PT. Pertiwi Lestari. Agraria Conflict is one of JOKO WIDODO promise for reformation and give justice to farmers, but as he become president the conflict still happening at many places in Indonesia.
