VIP's Graffiti in Bulgaria

The village of Staro Zhelezare is on its way to become the first village in Bulgaria, painted with graffiti of world famous people, Thursday, June 22, 2017. The project is idea of artist Ventsislav Piriankov, hoping for an economic revival through his art. The power of celebrities pained on the walls of houses in the village attract many tourists. Homeowners are painted on their own houses walls with personalities such as Vladimir Putin, Pope Francis, Fidel Castro, Stalin, Queen Elizabeth II, Barack Obama, Angela Merkel, Angelina Jolie and Margaret Thatcher.
