Giant Rubber Duck Arrives in Toronto, Canada

The world's largest rubber duck arrived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on June 30, 2017, in preparation for the upcoming celebrations for the 150th birthday of Canada. The 13,600-kg inflatable duck was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman and is more than 27 meters in length and nearly six storeys tall. The giant rubber duck will tour through Ontario as part of the Redpath Waterfront Festival. The 150th anniversary of Canada (the 150th anniversary of Confederation) will take place on July 1, 2017, with many celebrations planned across the country.
