Refugees protesting at the German Consulate in Thessaloniki
Refugees are protesting in front of the German Consulate in Thessaloniki, Greece, on July 18, 2017 as the Family Reunification Visa Applications are delayed. They claim that the process has almost stopped and they demand to restart, so they can be reunited with their family members that already got asylum status in Germany. Most of the refugees were Syrian women and children. Everything was peaceful. Refugees tried to give their demands on a paper in the consulate, but entrance was denied. They held also some carton banners. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
