NBI arrests retired Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan

Manila, Philippines - Retired Maj. Gen. Jovito answers questions from the media at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after his arrest on Aug 12, 2014. Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan is currently facing charges of kidnapping, serious ellegal detention, extrajudicial killings, torture and dissapearances. Justice Secretary Leila de Lima assured Palparan a fair trial and will remain under the custody of the NBI as the court has yet decide where he will be detained during a press conference on Tuesday morning.
