Toxic residue left in Croatian petrochemical plant

A disused petrochemical plant is seen on the island of Krk in Croatia on 23 July, 2017. After the facility was sold it was shut down and several hundred people from the island lost their jobs. Hazardous material has partly been removed however in the underground pipelines some still remains and people on the island fear it will pose a danger to their municipalities.
