Aerial images of Kea island also known as Gia or Tzia, Zea, and, in antiquity, Keos, is a Greek island in the Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea. Kea is part of the Kea-Kythnos regional unit. It is the island of theCyclades complex that is closest to Attica (Athens prefecture). Korissia is the main port of Kea island. Ioulida, the capital of Kea built with traditional Cycladic architecture, town on a hill where the terrace is the balcony for the neighbour above, located in the mainland of the island in Greece. There is Aghios (saint) Nikolaos cape with lighthouse at Kea island in Greece. Also a famous white chapel, Aghios Georgios. Kea is a typical arid Greek island, with little white houses and many churches. As most of the Greek beaches, Kea offers a variety of them, with crystal clean turquoise water.
