Old Venetian port of Chania on Crete island, Greece

Images of the area of the old Venetian port in Chania town, the second largest in Creta island. Chania has many ancient and newer monuments in the harbours like Arsenals, the Venetian shipyards, fishing boats in old harbour of Chania, the Lighthouse, the Venetian shipyards, the Center of Mediterranean architecture, the Küçük Hasan Pasha Ottoman Mosque, the famous red building that is the Nautical museum etc. About 50.000 inhabitants are in Chania, but during the summer the city is a popular tourist destination and many cruise ships also stop here.
