Bonifacio Day protests

Labor group leaders set fire on the effigy depicting the Philippine president as the pork barrel king, sitting on top of a barrel with the face of a pig. Militant groups marked Filipino patriot, Andres Bonifacio's 150th birthday, holding protests and various activities in Manila, on Saturday, 30 November 2013. Citing that the president would've earned Bonifacio's ire, the protest is led by national labor center Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), coinciding with other labor groups' protests across the country.
