Search and Rescue On The Mediterranean Sea
LAMPEDUSA, ITALY - SEPTEMBER 02: Refugees and migrants are seen being transfered off a overcrowded small wooden boat to an Irish War Ship after being assisted and prepaired with life vests by search and rescue crew members form German NGO Sea-Eye about 46 nautical miles (nm) into Libyan initiated restriced area on September 2, 2017. The security situation for SAR NGOs such as Sey-Eye has deteriorated graviered after the so called Libyan Cost Guard has expand their search and rescue territory from 12nm to 72nm.
