Independence Classic Announced for 2018 in Philadelphia, PA
Philadelphia, PA, USA - June 7, 2015; With a three decade history of being one of the major one-day race events in the USA, The Philadelphia International Cycling Classic is held on a 12.3 miles long lap, partly urban, partly hilly roads, mostly in the NorthWest Section of Philadelphia, PA. Different from previous thirty editions, in 2015 the men's race was in the morning while the women's race was the featured race for the afternoon. The race is also know as the "Manayunk Wall Philly Bike Race', named after the 17% steep climb that forms the finish of each 12.3 miles long lap and ultimately the race itself.
