Postal workers on strike in Brazil
Postal workers on strike since September 20 are doing an act and march through the streets of São Paulo. The National Federation of Postal, Telegraph and Similar Workers (Fentect), which has 31 affiliated unions, has declared a strike on the 20th. They are against the privatization project of the Post Office by the Temer government. The Post Office has entered the list of state-owned companies that the federal government intends to privatize. "The financial situation of the Post Office, for the information that (Ministry of) Planning has and passes us, is very difficult. Because, from a technological point of view, how long have you not sent a telegram? People have lost the habit of using the letter. " (Photo by Cris Faga/NurPhoto)
