Bitcoin cybercrime suspect in courts in Thessaloniki for the Russian extradition request

Greek court extradites Russian bitcoin laundering suspect to Russia after the previous accepted extradition request to US a week ago. The Thessaloniki Court of Appeals has ruled for the extradition of Alexander Vinnik, the suspected mastermind of a $4 billion bitcoin laundering ring, to Russia after the Russian request for a fraud case of 10.000 euro. Greek courts had recently ruled for the extradition of the 38-year-old to the US, a decision that had outraged Russia! Now the decision is to be extradited to both the US and Russia! The case will continue to the Greek Higher courts and the Justice Minister. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
