Russia's Pavel Brutt wants more in the World of Cycling at age of 35

Pavel Brutt, a Russian professional track and road bicycle racer from Gazprom–RusVelo and a former Giro d'Italia and Tour de Romandie stage winner, and 2011 National Champion of Russia, doesn't want to leave the world of professional cycling at age of 35. Brutt is looking for a new contract and to join a new team: “I learned in mid-September that the team is concentrating on its young riders, which is quite right, but that my services are surplus to their requirements in 2018. I have been riding professionally since the age of 19, but two decades on I am still motivated, and I still believe. I am not ready to retire and, when I do so, I hope it will be on my own turns. I don't want it top end like this.” On Monday, 9 October 2017, in Alanya, Turkey. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
