Protest against the re-opening of the Salau' mine in Toulouse

Militants, ecologists demonstrated in front of the town hall of Toulouse against the re-opening of the Salau' mine (Ariège) closed in 1986. The tungsten mine contains heavy polluants such as cadmium, asbestos, arsenic, bismuth. Opponents fear water pollution, ground pollution, etc by chemicals and heavy metals.
