Labor Demonstration for Minimum Wage increasing at Jakarta

Jakarta, 10 Noember2017 : Thousands of Labor held demonstration in front of Jakarta Governor office at Merdeka Street. They demand the low minimum wage of labor increasing to Rp. 5000,000 (five million rupiah) but Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno as elected Governor and Vice Governor of Jakarta only increase the minimu wage to Rp. 3,600,000 (three million and six hundred rupiah) which is still low. The labor felt that elected Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor betrayed the political contract that they sign during the Jakarta governor campaign. During the rally small clash and burning happening that not causing any serious injury both to the police and demonstrant participant. The demonstration heavily guarded by the police.
