Indonesian's Made Air Craft

President Joko Widodo threw a paper plane with elementary school students during the ceremony to name the N-219 Aircraft at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta on Friday, November 10, 2017. President Jokowi named the N-219 air craft NURTANIO, which taken from one of Indonesia's heroes name NURTANIO PRINGGODISURYO. NURTANIO was an Air Vice Marshal who had dedicated his entire life to Indonesia's aeronautics and died while conducting a test flight. The N-219 NURTANIO aircraft was developed by the National Aerospace and Aeronautic Institute in cooperation with state-owned aircraft manufacturer PT. Dirgantara Indonesia.
