Energy blackout in Venezuela
Locals use public transport buses during a power cut in Caracas on December 18, 2017. Vast sectors of Caracas and northern Venezuela were without electricity on Monday due to an electrical fault, affecting vital services such as the metro in the capital, authorities said.The public transport service collapsed and many merchants closed their businesses while others continued to work without electric service. So far there has been no official pronouncement by the government of President Nicolas Maduro informing that it could have caused the failure that affected for several hours in several states of the country and generated chaos in the streets.
