Maviddapuram Kandaswamy Temple in Sri Lanka
Maviddapuram Kandaswamy kovil located in Maviddapuram, Sri Lanka. This temple is said to be over 5000 years old and was destroyed and rebuilt several times. The present day temple dates from the 17th century. The temple's 108 foot gopuram (tower) has been re-built but much of the 17th century temple was destroyed during the civil war.
