Brazilian celebrate Anniversary of Sao Paulo

The Memorial Foundation of Latin America celebrates the anniversary of São Paulo with the Washing of the Hand of Oscar Niemeyer. Planted in the heart of the Memorial, the Carioca architect's sculpture has become a symbol not only of the city but also of Latin America. Therefore, since 2013, the Memorial - inspired by the ceremony of washing the stairs of the Church of the Lord of Bonfim, in Salvador - celebrates to the rhythm of the São Paulo sampa.
