Protest Against Dolphin Circus In Jakarta

A number of animals activist from the Movement To End Animal Circuses In Indonesia, held a demonstration in front of Jakarta Governor office on Thursday, February 15, 2018. They asked the Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan to stop the circus circle of dolphins, by PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, because it is considered an animal cruelty. PT. Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, is a company that manages a beach recreation area in Jakarta, which is known to be majority owned by Jakarta Administration (72%), and also one of the companies that have been granted permission to organize the attraction of dolphins in Jakarta.
