Tourism in Southeast Turkey

The head of Antiochus I on Nemrut Dagi, which is a mountain-top tomb featuring stone thrones and statues of Greek and Persian gods, whose massive heads now sit on the ground after being toppled over by earthquakes. The area is a popular tourist destination, especially at sunrise, and is located north of Sanliurfa, Turkey. Photo taken on 18 March 2018. (Photo by Diego Cupolo/NurPhoto)
