Vasco da Gama Bridge completes 20 Years

The Vasco da Gama bridge extends over the Tagus estuary in the Greater Lisbon area, a total of 17 kilometers. This bridge connects Montijo and Alcochete municipalities to Lisbon and Sacavm and was built as an alternative to the 25 de Abril Bridge, that is often congested at the rush hours.
