Land Day commemoration in Amsterdam
People take part on March 31th in Amsterdam, Netherlands at the annual 'Land Day' to commemorate the six Arab citizens of Israel who were killed by Israeli security forces during demonstrations in 1976 over government land confiscations in northern Israel. In Amsterdam a demonstration was organized in the center of the Dutch city at the Dam Square. Around a hundred of people gathered to increase the morale of Palestine supporters, rise their Palestinian flags, draw attention to the plight of hundreds of thousands of Gazans whose relatives fled or were expelled from their homes in what is now the "Israeli" occupation entity during the 1948 war surrounding its creation.
