Fontana di Trevi or Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous landmarks in Italy. It was built in 1762 by the architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci. It is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world. There is a tradition for visitors who throw a coin for a wish or to commit that they will come back.
