The Amstel Gold Race Celebrated In Limburg

April 15th, Limburg. Since 1966 the Amstel Gold Race takes place in Limburg every year. The ‘Markt’ in Maastricht is the start location from the Amstel Gold Race. The finish line is situated in Valkenburg. The Amstel Gold Race is part of the UCI WorldTour. Taking a place in the UCI WorldTour, and the UCI Women’s WorldTour, both the men’s and women’s races draw in some of the top riders in the world. Dutch beer brewer Amstel has served as the race's title sponsor since its creation in 1966.
