Tour of Funchal, Capital Of Madeira Island
A view of a statue of the famous Polish leader, Marshall Jozef Pilsudski, who stayed in Caminho do Pilar, Funchal, from December 1930 to March 1931. As per local story, one day he received so much mails that it almost collapsed the Portuguese local post office. When returning to Poland, it took a truck to carry all his mails.
