Four Militants Among Six Killed In Kashmir Gunbattle

Kashmir Muslim protesters throw stones at Indian government forces during a protest on June 22, 2018 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir, India.Four militants were killed on Friday in south Kashmirs Anantnag district. A civilian and an Indian policeman were also killed in Fridays gun battle that erupted in Srigufwara area early in the day after information about the four militants holed up in a house in Khiram village was received by the Indian government forces. Soon after the killings of rebels and a civilian anti Indian protests and clashes triggered in Kashmir. Indian government forces used live rounds, shot gun metal pellets and teargas shells to thwart thousands of Kashmir protesters scores were wounded in sporadic action against the dissenters.
