Demonstration Against The Separation Of Immigrant Families In USA

Hundreds of people were gathering on 30 June 2018 at the Museumplein in the center of Amsterdam during a demonstration against Trump administration. Hundreds of events and marches protested President Trump's strict "zero-tolerance" immigration policy was being held nationwide and worldwide by advocacy organizations like MoveOn, the ACLU, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, and more. The demonstration ended in front of the U.S. Consulate, where several speakers addressed the danger of dehumanizing immigration policies. Hundreds of toys were leaving closer to the American embassy to represent the children who are still in cages and camps. De Goede Zaak (progressive movement in The Netherlands) presented a petition with +15.000 signatures to Prime Minister Rutte: he should urge President Trump during his July 2nd meeting for justice in immigration policies.
