Timber Labour In Kashmir
Kashmiri lumberjacks load tree logs onto a logging truck at Timber Transport Range on July 5, 2018 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir, India. Lumberjacks work in Kashmir remain mostly underpaid and are not insured against accident. Most are employed as casual laborers at timber transport range in Srinagar. Due to the nature of their work, lumberjacks have an unusual gait as they suffer from orthopedic disorders particularly chronic back pain.
