British Muslim Heritage Centre: Syrian Conflict Conference

Anas Al Abdeh speaking about the need for a "no fly zone and political autonomy [for the Syrian National Coalition] in Northern Syria as a save haven which would gradually increase in size. We have an informal de-facto partition in Syria already. We would like to keep Syria as one state. There needs to be an acceptance of the Geneva Communique, by Al-Assad and the regime. 60% of the homes and infrastructure has been destroyed in Syria. Iran is part of the problem, but they can be part of the solution." Manchester, UK, 17th October 2104. (Photo by Jonathan Nicholson/NurPhoto)
