The Shard or Shard of Glass or Shard London Bridge and formerly known as London Bridge Tower is the tallest building in London, having 95 stores, its the highest skyscraper in the United Kindgom. The Italian architect Renzo Piano designed it and is located in Southwark, London. The building is 309.7 meters (1,016 ft) high, the Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom, the tallest building in the European Union, the 5th tallest building in Europe and the 96th tallest building in the world.
