Monastery of Benedictine Nuns in Staniatki, Poland on 16 July, 2018. Monastery in Staniatki village, located about 20 km east of Krakow was founded in 1210 and is the oldest monastery of Benedictine Nuns in Poland. Nuns had appeal through a public co-funding for financial help to renovate and rebuild the external buildings as a museum, a library and study rooms. Regional authorities allocated 7 million zloty (1.7 million Euro) of the co-funded grant to the convent, that covers up to 70% of the total expense. (Photo by Beata Zawrzel/NurPhoto)
