Photo reportage 'Portraits along the Way'

Pilgrim just arrived at Santiago. Walking around the 'Plaza del Obradoiro', where the Santiago de Compostela Church it is situated, you can see during the whole day every day pilgrims arriving there from all the Camino's routes. This gentleman was observing me, as much I was watching him. I don't remember who started, but at some point, we were talking about the Camino. He told me he is from Denmark, and this is the third time that he walks the Camino. The first one was following the French route and the second one was the Portuguese route. I came close to his wooden stick and realized that there are some marks on it, he said they represented the arrival and departure dates of his ways. Finally, before saying our goodbyes, I asked him if he is going to be walking until Finisterre and answered me that since he has run out of money and he doesn't want to sleep outside, he doesn't know what to do. I left him thinking about what next to do. about what next to do. (Photo by Romy Arroyo Fernandez/NurPhoto)
