Afghan traditional bakery

Afghan bakery on 24th October 2014 in Shahr-e Naw, at biggest vegetable market in Kabul, Afghanistan An ancient city of art and tradition and the nation’s multicultural capital, Kabul has traditionally offered a wide variety of cooking styles and ingredients. Afghan food items known today were probably first served by urban residents. Kabul still hasn't any bread factory. All bread is baking in small traditional stalls with underground clay oven, kindled by wood. (Photo: Oleksandr Rupeta/NurPhoto)
