Riots During The Blockade In Front Of The NAM Oil Company In Farmsum
People protest in Farmsum, Netherlands, on August 28, 2018 in front of NAM oil company. Besides the Code Rood civil disobedience action, a completely legal demonstration against the gas extraction takes place on August 28th, organized by local groups. Hundreds of people gathered in Delfzijl to walk to the NAM location in Farmsum. After the demonstration some of the activists came closer to the oil company area, police had intervened to restore order by using dogs, force and pepper spray.
