Landslide In Nagaland
Villagers carrying bag of rice cross a landslide area to Kiphire side which was brought from Tuesang at near Yahi Bridge, about 80 kms away from Tuesang town in the India eastern state of Nagaland on Thursday, August 30, 2018. About 300 meters of road on National Highway 202 were totally washed away by incessant rain on July at Yahi Bridge over Zungki river where villagers were facing shortage of essential commodities. According to official source about 100 villages in Nagaland were effected by landslide destroying property and agricultural field and some town and villages remain completely cut off from the rest of the state.
