Romania: Referendum On Marriage - Day 2

People are seen voting on the second day of the referendum on October 7, 2018 in Bucharest, Romania. The ruling PSD party with backing of both the Catholic and Orthodox churches has initiated a referendum on changing the defition of marriage in the constitution. If a Yes vote wins marriage between same-sex couples in Romania will become near impossible. Critics however fear the referendum is a used as a mechanism in further extending autocratic power.
