Four Killed In Kashmir Gun Battle

Indian government forces carrying a ladder enter an adjacent house to retrieve the body of their comrade killed in a gun battle between Indian government forces and Kashmiri rebels on October 17, 2018 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir, India. A top Kashmiri militant commander belonging to the Lashkar-Toiba Meraj Bangroo was killed along with his associate Faid Mushtaq in a gunfight with Indian forces in Fateh Kadal area of Srinagar. An Indian policeman also lost his life in the gunfight, top police officer Dilbag Singh told reporters, and added that the identity of the third alleged militant killed in the gunfight was being ascertained.
