Nallur Kandaswamy Temple In Jaffna
Ornate gopuram tower of the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil (Nallur Temple) in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The temple is the most significant and socially important institution for Sri Lankan Hindu Tamils. The present temple was constructed in the year 1734 A.D. is physically the largest Hindu Temple Complex in Sri Lanka.
