Paris Ready To Celebrate The 100th Anniversary Of Armistice 1918
For the centenary of the Armistice of the First World War, 94,415 flowers colored like the French flag have been set in front of Paris city hall. Visible on Saturday November 10 and Sunday 11, 2018, these pansies and primroses are a tribute to the 94, 415 Parisians who died during the First world War.Their names were displayed on giant screens while the façade of the city hall will be lit in blue, white and red on the occasion.
